Governor Granholm and MEDC recognize next-gen lighting manufacturer for outstanding diversification achievement in alternative energy
TROY, MICH. – December 7, 2007 – As part of its Michigan Diversification Celebration, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) along with Governor Jennifer M. Granholm honored ilumisys, Inc. for outstanding diversification achievement in alternative energy.
The Diversification Achievement Awards were presented on Dec. 6, 2007, at the State Capitol in Lansing, Mich. to companies that have made significant contributions to diversifying the economy of the state in 2007. ilumisys was selected as the small business winner from three finalists in the alternative energy category. Other recognized categories included cutting-edge industries such as life sciences, urban community economic development and advanced manufacturing.
